Servicing to maintain the value of the products
The measurement
technologies and equipment we used are the most tireless workers.
Regardless whether you work on a single shift or several shift
system, the quality crucially depends on the availability of the
products. For this reason we offer maintenance service that keeps
your measurement technology always ready for use and in conjunction
with software support ensures it always includes the most recent
technology and knowledge. In the framework of a maintenance visit,
worn wearing parts are replaced, functioning of the electronic
elements is checked, software updated to the latest version and
cosmetic repairs carried out as well as internal cleaning.

In house and on site calibration service
The DKD calibration
laboratory at our principal factory in Germany offers a calibration
service from 0.01 to 20,000 Nm and with this ratio of 1:2 million
offers a single coverage for the measurement of the torque
dimension. A unique calibration is also used for angle of torque
measurement in a range from 0.05° to 7,200°. Thus SCHATZ can offer
its service worldwide as the only calibration laboratory, which can
directly align torque and angle of torque to the national
standard.
The majority of
service products in the field of calibrations is also available to
you on site. Calibration equipment for
torque wrenches can be
calibrated on site by DKD calibration -
directly in line with the national
standard. Measuring chains with
transducers can be factory-calibrated
throughout your own premises.
Apart from its
mobile calibration facilities, SCHATZ also offers several
calibration laboratories worldwide that ensure direct recalibration
to national standards. Our subsidiary
SCHATZ USA has calibration equipment directly aligned to NIST (the
National Institute for Standards and Technology), our calibration
laboratory in Mexico is in line with CENAM (Cento Nacional de
Metrology) and the calibration laboratory
in Taiwan is accredited by CNLA (Chinese National Laboratory
Accreditation). In addition we have consulted several international
calibration laboratories in connection with SCHATZ calibration
equipment to allow them accreditation to national norms.
